Has anybody happened to see my family? I am starting to think they are pulling some kind of practical joke. Dorcas, it is still too early for you to be running around so get your butt home!

As if this day could not get any worse, I think I just tripped over thin air.

This morning I woke up at first light to go to the bakery, while I was still half-asleep, made little croissants and packed a small box of baked goods. I slipped it into a bag full of the brightest writing utensils I have ever seen, odd paper, and several others little things. Then I woke Dorcas up and we made our first trip, as a family, into Edinburgh.

My little girl's first day of school was today.

Sod it, I'm going back to bed and pretending this never happened. Dorcas, wake me when it's time to pick her up.

I really wish my daughter would stop making up her own language. It is bad enough when she speaks words in French and I do not understand, but I have no hope of understanding if she is making up words.

Dorcas, why are you working? No working. Well, you can work, but take a lot of breaks. Let me know if you're tired.

It's so nice to be working in the bakery again. I've missed the happiness that comes with it. The smell of bread in the morning, watching the yeast rising, decorating the small cakes, serving the customers with a smile, saying hello to regular customers, and hexing problematic customers. It's wonderful.

Shacklebolt's heard the news, right? Shacklebolt, I don't like you. But come over when you have time and help me pick out colours for the room. REGULUS! I may have news for you and, ultimately, tell the family.

So it looks as if I shall be home for good. I will be stopping my political world tour and have to rely on threats from afar to get what I want. By threats I mean gentle persuasion.

I am so glad to be home at last. I hate thinking I missed any part of my daughter's life. I hope everybody is doing well.

Home sweet home. One of the things I dislike about politics is all the time one must spend away from the family.

Ugh, and now I'm talking funny again. I hate returning to an empty home. DORCAS! Where are you and Dia? Nevermind, I'm going to the bakery and I'll probably see you there. Then we can.... have a picnic. A wonderful picnic.

Oh bugger, is Kingsley still living with us?

Currently I am the proud owner of three dogs (Killer, Bijoux, and Delame), one cat (Cat), one snake (Snake), two horses, and two Hippogryffs (Badakai and his pregnant mate Rene). This is not counting my ownership of the best bakery in Hogsmeade, partner in the Hogshead, and the Black businesses which I take care of in several different wizarding areas around the world. I am the proud mother of a darling little girl and I have a gorgeous fiance as well now.

My point? I don't have one. I just felt like saying how bloody happy I am. Oh, by the way I am going into politics. By the end of next year I will have a place on the Wizengamot. allow me my evil laughter now.
